The following is a poem we read as a class. The last verses were done by students.

Alligator pie, alligator pie,
If I don't get some I think I'm gonna die.
Give away the green grass, give away the sky,
But don't give away my alligator pie.

Alligator stew, alligator stew,
If I don't get some I don't know what I'll do.
Give away my furry hat, give away my shoe,
But don't give away my alligator stew.

Alligator soup, alligator soup,
If I don't get some I think I'm gonna droop.
Give away my hockey-stick, give away my hoop,
But don't give away my alligator soup.


Alligator cake, alligator cake,
If I don't get some I think I'll shake.
Give away my underwear, give away my steak,
But don't give away my alligator shake.

Alligator steak, alligator steak,
If I don't get some I think I'm gonna bake.
Give away my Booker T, give away my sugar and tea,
But don't give away my alligator steak.


Alligator macaroni, alligator macaroni,
If I don't get some I think I'll go lonely.
Give away my skateboard, give away my Sony,
But don't give away my alligator maacaroni.

One day Torri spend the night. Hi Torri. said Lexi. hey, said Torri. Want to go in my back yard? Sure said Torri. Come on. Than we started playing baseketball the ball hit the edge of the hoop. So we raced to get the ball it bounced on a rock. But we heard a scweech. There was a block that was loose. Should we open it? said Lexi. Well i geuss but if any thing pops out i'm out of here. fine. So we opend it. Wow! said lexi. ou got that right. said Torri. There was a bunch of jewles, some notes. They were suspicous. MOm Dad. What. Come here. O.K. Can you read this. Sure. Omg. What. This is from the 1960. But one of them was from i cant believe it but it's from God. What? In such a shock. But we went to a place were we put all the jewles so we would get some money cause we could use it. But me and torri didn't really care so then we just went back to playing basketball. But its time for bed. Good night Ladies night mom and dad. Good night Ms. W and Mr. W. Night. Your me Bff. Night Torri. Night Lexi.

Once I spent the night at my cousins house. We were down in her basement doing flips agianst her wall. and When she went to do a flip she ended up on her wall. but her walls were really sticky so she got stuck to it. She told me to go get her mom and brother so I went and got them and they started to laugh alot. then I ran up to her wall and I jumped and stuck to it. They said my hair got all stadiky then her brother and mom come and pulled us off the wall. We laughed so hard our stomachs started to aik. So we went upstars so we could calm down while her mom made us snacks. Then we ate them and our stomachs started to feel better and we ended up on her computer playing games all night nad when it was late at night we snuck downstairs and we did a flip against her wall and slept like that for the rest of the night. but when her brother and dad came down to work out they saw us upside down sleeping. We ended up in a big amount of trouble.

Limericks

We have been studying different types of poems. Today we learned that limericks have a rhyming pattern of A,A,B,B,A.
